I love animals, and have had pets all my life – dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, fish, the list goes on! I set up my own pet business in 2021 to start doing what I love best – spending time with animals. Whether this is curled up inside stroking cats, or walking dogs in our amazing local countryside, I love every minute of my job.

Alongside a lifetime of experience caring for pets, I have formal CPD qualifications, including Pet First Aid Training and a Diploma in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. I am fully insured, and have an Enhanced DBS certificate and a clean driving licence. There is always more to learn, and I am continuously updating my knowledge through courses, and volunteering with Whozza Good Dog puppy training classes.

Dog Walking

Group walks of 30 minutes or 1 hour. All groups are carefully chosen to ensure that the dogs’ temperaments match for a fun and enjoyable experience.

I track each walk, so you get an email with a map and a little report after each walk.

After each walk, each dog has a quick wash, and a good dry off.

I no longer offer regular solo walks, but am happy to do these on a one-off basis. Please contact me for further details.

Pet Sitting

Each visit lasts 20 minutes, giving ample time for feeding, cleaning and lots of cuddles and company. I also take lots of photos for you.

Extra services available at no extra charge, including drawing curtains, watering plants and putting out bins giving you peace of mind, so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

Dog Boarding

I can offer up to 7 nights home boarding for dogs from one household, up to a maximum of 3 dogs.

Priority is given to my regular walking clients, but please do contact me to see if I have occasional spaces.

Please note that dogs should be happy to be around cats, children and other dogs. A trial night will be required for each new dog to check their suitability.

Doggy Daycare

I can provide occasional full day care for dogs. Priority is given to regular walking clients.

Dogs should be happy to be around cats and other dogs, as daycare involves group walks. A free meet & greet session will be held beforehand, with a short trial walk to ensure the suitability of the dog.

“I can wholeheartedly recommend Heather. Her love for animals is clear and she's very professional and courteous.” - D Koper

“Really pleased with how the dog walking from Heather is working out. Teddi looks forward to her walks and is getting better every time with her training” - Jo

My boys were well looked after, it was great to get some pictures of them. They are usually very timid of strangers, but they let Heather fuss them. Which is definitely a first. Would very happily recommend Heather, and ask her to look after the boys again" - Anon

Heather was fantastic with our two budgies and our rabbit for the week we were away - she even watered the plants too. Heather was professional, polite, friendly and very easy to communicate with. The updates throughout the week and the pictures were also greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone looking for a pet sitter." - Joseph
